ABSTRACT:
The rapid development and structural maturation of the global digital economy have revealed a crucial limitation of the existing research, namely the gap between localized, micro-level behavioral models and macro-environmental realities. Digital venture success is a multi-layered and emergent process, rather than the traditional frameworks that assess consumer perceptions, entrepreneurial traits, and leadership styles in isolation. This study synthesizes multidisciplinary literature on consumer psychology, entrepreneurial competencies, adaptive leadership models, and crisis management to propose an all-encompassing conceptual framework. The framework identifies individual micro-foundations (consumer trust, benefit awareness, and entrepreneurial risk tolerance) as antecedents influencing firm-level strategic orientations. These orientations are operationalized through transformational and empowering leadership, which fosters employee psychological safety and workplace thriving as key mediating mechanisms for innovative work behaviors. Most importantly, the entire operational pipeline is moderated by macro-environmental boundary conditions, such as infrastructure quality, socio-economic constraints, and regional crises, which determine the extent to which internal dynamics can translate into sustained e-commerce adoption, consumer retention, and venture resilience. The paper concludes with concrete theoretical, methodological, practical, and conceptual propositions for future empirical research in terms of longitudinal, multi-wave designs and systematically integrated models.
