Abstract:
Education should empower future generation to face the changing scenario of the world. Adolescence is the more crucial period in the life of an individual as it is the period of rapid physical, biological and emotional changes occurs which may leads to tensions, frustration and feeling of insecurity. It is the duty of teachers to equip the children to face these challenges in their developmental stage through his multifaceted roles as a guide, philosopher, friend and scaffolder instead of merely knowledge mongers. The study discusses the role of teacher in coping with frustration of adolescent students. It also discusses various strategies that can be used by the teachers inorder to find solution for the adolescent frustration.
