Abstract: Information and Communication technology (ICT) is one of the best alternative to provide qualitative education to the demographic pattern of India. Realizing the fact the Government of India started its initiative long before though proper implementation in the teaching learning process in all levels is far away to reach. But the key resource for proper implementations of ICT in teaching learning process is the teacher. And the success of any project depends on the attitudes of concerned human resource. So it is for the teachers too. The main purpose of the study is to know the attitudes of Higher Secondary teachers in using ICT in teaching learning process. For this teachers from 22 schools, who are teaching in the +2 stage in the Cachar District (Assam) are taken as the population. A questionnaire has been administered to gather data. The study revealed that the teachers have the positive attitudes towards the using of ICT in teaching learning process. The study also found out the relation of attitudes with sex and place of work.
