ABSTRACT: The extent of cybercrime has grown exponentially with the development of technology. As the
world has globalized, cybercrimes have increased especially in those countries, which have lax
security systems. The only way out is to invest in cybercrime prevention technology by all
stakeholders namely the government, companies, and individuals. The availability of bitcoins
and Ethereum has made it easy for criminal proceeds to be collected and used for nefarious
activities.
