ABSTRACT: Theories have indicated that there is a close relationship between fiction and reality. It depends
on the mindset of individuals on how they perceive fiction and whether they should apply it to
real situations. The emotional make-up of individuals will have a bearing on whether they are
actually influenced by fiction and stories to such an extent that they feel that it is reality.
